എന്റെ മനസ്സിന്റെ മുറ്റത്തെ
പ്രണയത്തിന്റെ പൂതോപ്പില്‍
ഒരായിരം പൂക്കള്‍ വിരിഞ്ഞിരിന്നു
നിയുംമായിഅടുതത്തിനു ശേഷം
അവയിലോന്നോഴികെയെല്ലാം കൊഴിയുകയും
ചെടികള്‍ കരിയുകയും ചെയ്തു
ആ ഒന്നൊരു ചെമ്പരത്തി പൂവായിരിന്നു
പിന്നീടെപ്പൂഴോ ചോരയുടെ ചുവപ്പും
ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ മാര്ദലതയുമുല്ല
ഒരു പനിനീര്‍ പൂവായി പരിണമിച്ചു
